Time: Prague Astronomical Clock

The clock ticks as the day wears on, and the tourists crowd below the famous tour. Each second, the hand moves, another click of the clock and photo captured.

This beautiful clock stood proudly, nestled between beautiful, colorful buildings. It stood proud, guarding over April’s Easter market and giving tourists a chance to step back in time, to its medieval past when knowing the time was treasured, and not a burden.

And on the hour, its characters came out to play. They danced the circle above the face, to a twinkling tune and great grace.

Then it closed and ticked, and tourists moved on- just as time moves slowly but surely and faster than our intended pace.
